April Watch of the Month - The Brancaster Men's Watch

I visited the beautiful Norfolk coastline a few years ago with my partner. At the time I was looking to develop a new collection of men's watches and needed some inspiration. I set about taking some photos of the area, as well as meeting some of the locals, and sampling some of the lovely cuisine (I can heartily recommend a Sunday Lunch at the Hoste Arms). I came back home and thought about what I'd experienced in the area I'd visited but kept coming back to the same thoughts - "keep it simple". The area, the people, food, they all spoke for themselves - the natural beauty  was all around.

So I set about developing a watch with these principles in mind. I kept the colour scheme quite muted, just two dial choices, either dark grey or white. I didn't over-complicate the face - the numbering was deliberately simple, with only a single date calendar window. The strap is either Italian leather or silver/rose-gold mesh, again keeping it simple and straightforward.

I'm proud to say the effort I put into the design has paid off as the Brancaster is now one of our best-selling men's watches.
